However, STB Abschirmtechnik GmbH also manufactures its own range of electronic housings, which have been used and sold by industry and major distributors for 20 years.

Shielded electronic housings (EMC) for printed circuit boards

The standard electronics housings, which are metallized from the inside, are ideally suited for use with printed circuit boards and offer maximum flexibility with regard to different printed circuit boards.

The housing is individually adapted to the customer’s PCB by means of a customer-specific predefined PCB receptacle.

Stability

The electronic housings are usually much heavier and therefore more stable than conventional standard housings.

Accurate fit

Additional support stabilizers inside the housing ensure a high fitting accuracy and precision.

Insensitivity

The proven opposing “tongue and groove” system makes the electronics housing resistant to splash water, dust and humidity (IP 44).

Durability

In the upper part there are brass threaded inserts both for fixing the PCB and for screwing the housing. This means that the electronics housings can be opened as often as required without any noticeable wear.

Compatibility

On request, you can specify a screw connection option for your PCB mounting. This makes the electronics housings compatible with other housing manufacturers.
